Intended Use:
The Mobile Wheel Work Station is for commercial truck tire and wheel changing. The Workstation was carefully designed to give the operator a mobile workstation hence the name Mobile Wheel Work Station. You can store all your tools in one easy to maneuver Work Station. A supported boom handles the weight of the impact wrench. This results in reducing body fatigue and decreasing back problems. The easy to use Work Station greatly reduces tire-changing time. The impact wrench is able to rotate to the operators desired position. It can move in all directions and lock the wrench in a horizontal plane to prevent rounding of wheel nuts. The Work Station also features a storage bin on its side and has a rear compartment for storing sockets, tire irons, lubricants, hoses, and wheel parts. This makes jobs go a lot faster by not having the operator go back to his toolbox or workshop to locate parts needed to complete the job. The operator can outfit his Work Station to his particular needs and all required tools can be easily rolled to the work site. What makes the Work Station more versatile is the air access manifold located on the side of the handle bar. This manifold shows the pressure available from the compressor, and also has an additional high-pressure line (red hose) and a regulated line (blue hose). High-pressure lines can provide air to a jack to lift the truck/trailer. You can also use it for any high-pressure air tools that require the same amount of air volume that is received from the compressor. The regulated line is excellent to regulate air pressure; it can be used to inflate tires that need a bit of extra air. Simply dial the amount of air pressure required, and while the tire inflates you can go and do other important things with no worry of over inflation.

How Much Is Your Back Worth?
Working with heavy truck tire equipment can lead to unsuspected injuries and lifetime trauma. Workers compensation is doubling each year from people getting injured on the job site due to operating heavy equipment. One of the biggest injuries that is driving workers comp off the charts is truck tire removal, which requires the operator to remove and replace tires with an impact wrench, weighing in excess of 25-35 lbs. The operator uses the heavy impact wrench to remove tires, lifting the heavy gun from the ground up bending his back to pick up the gun. He then proceeds to remove the lug nuts (in some cases 10 lug nuts per tire); managing the strenuous weight and fighting the massive torque from the gun make this a very tiring and rigorous job! Many back injuries in fact do occur as a result of operation of a heavy-duty impact wrench in this manner. These injuries cause not only human suffering, but also result in medical claims and insurance premiums for the employers involved. Furthermore, it is often difficult to hold the impact wrench aloft in this manner, and to control it accurately. Thus, a misguided impact wrench can damage the lug nuts and cause other injuries to the operator.
